Most students are looking for ways to save money – especially when there’s a big purchase to make like a new laptop computer or a new mobile phone for example. One way that extra money can be saved is by the use of online discount codes.

Online discount codes can be found in many places and for many different things. Our grandparents clipped coupons to save them money on their beans and coffee at the store, while today with the advent of the internet, electronic versions of coupons are much more in keeping with the way we shop.

Your chances of finding an online voucher for the things you want are increased if you sign up to newsletters for the stores you may look to make purchases in as these companies sometimes send out money off codes to newsletter recipients. Another method is to look on sites that gather together discount codes to share with their visitors. There are quite a number of these sites around and they don’t always all have the same codes on them so as well as bookmarking your favourites and looking at them, you could also try doing a simple online search for ‘Vodafone promotional code’ or Currys discount codes‘ to see what you find that way too. Finally, keep an eye on student websites as sometimes these codes are shared in forums by students who may have received notification by e-mail or through the post too.
